Southern African Youth Development Agency (SAYDA) is a multifaceted youth empowerment and development organization dedicated to unlocking the potential of young people across Southern Africa. Through our diverse programmes, projects, and independent initiatives, we focus on education, skills development, leadership, entrepreneurship, employment, sports, cultural exchange, and innovation.
At SAYDA, we believe that every young person has the capacity to become a leader, innovator, and professional in the making. By bridging opportunities and creating sustainable platforms, we prepare youth to thrive academically, socially, and economically — shaping a generation that drives positive transformation across the region.
We are dedicated to harnessing the potential of youth as agents of change and economic drivers through strategies aligned with the SADC Youth Protocol, Agenda 2063, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Southern African Youth Development Agency engage community members annually to support our music benefit concert fundraising event.
Every employer requires a candidate with immense work experience. We appeal to young communities to volunteer with us to acquire a vast work experience.
We annually invite matriculants from high schools to take part in a student visionary competition and student innovation challenge.
Our Reach
Our programmes and projects are offered at no cost to participants, ensuring accessibility for all young individuals in the SADC region. We organize charity runs, workshops, gala dinners and benefit concerts, with entry fees and sponsorship opportunities to raise funds. We create a comprehensive support network that not only aids in funding but also enhances the reach and impact of our programmes and projects.

SAYDA STUDENTS SHELTER
Sayda Students Shelter project is a division of Southern African Youth Development Agency. Sayda Students Shelter is a short-term emergency housing assistance project that provides students who are experiencing housing insecurities and housing displacement during the tertiary registration season to ensure the students' safety and time to acquire permanent and secure accommodation.
SAYDA AFTERMATH GRADUATES
Sayda Aftermath Graduates Project is a division of Southern African Youth Development Agency. Sayda Aftermath Graduates is an ex-offenders employment equity project that collaborates with academically qualified offenders from inside prison and the public/private sector companies that believes that qualified ex-offenders deserves a second chance in life. “Take 5 Ex-Offenders Empowerment Programme” (T5) for job market access.
SAYDA INTERCULTURAL EXCHANGE
Sayda Intercultural Exchange Project is a division of Southern African Youth Development Agency. Sayda Intercultural Exchange is an engagement of local students who just completed matric from various Southern African schools to deepen their knowledge of foreign cultures and strengthen international relationships as a gap year at one of our organization's partners institutions.
SAYDA YOUTH IN SPORTS
Sayda Youth In Sports project is a division of Southern African Youth Development Agency. Sayda Youth In Sports is a sports management project that create meaningful connections between students, academics and professionals within the world of sports and build sports marketing knowledge through career development opportunities, networking, and implementation of marketing strategies.

Our YOUTH Impact STRATEGY
Southern African Youth Development Agency evaluates youth impact assessment through empowerment programmes and development projects activities, staff performance, and student engagement. Our impact assessment is based on quantitative data collection as well as qualitative feedback from staff, participants, students, families, and other key stakeholders.
